The Choir emerged from a massed hospitals’ choir which took part in an annual Carol Concert organised by the Sir Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children.
Our 40th Anniversary was in 2017
The Choir enjoys patronage and support from the Hospital Trust. Authority.
Concerts are given mainly for Charitable Organisations in venues from local Churches to the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Repertoire ranges from Oratorio to Rock, from Bach to Beethoven.
In 2003 we received a grant from Salford Community Chest to obtain a new digital piano and speaker/amplifier. We take this to venues where no instrument is available.
We have performed most of our concerts in the following areas:
